What is CITES?
The ‘Washington’ Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, more commonly known as CITES, aims to protect certain plants and animals by regulating and monitoring their international trade to prevent it reaching unsustainable levels.
As part of the Beverly Hills Collection, this 167 Pochette is made in a unique combination of smooth rose petal pink & glossy oyster crocodile.
An elegant handbag with a refined profile, the 167 is a re-imagining of a handbag from the Asprey archives. Its distinctive trapezium shape is inspired by the line of ocean liners, from the golden age of ocean cruising. The 167 Collection is named after the store at 167 New Bond Street that was home to Asprey’s flagship store for more than 200 years before its recent move to 36 Bruton Street celebrating its 240th anniversary. The sleek, chic 167 Pochette will take you from day to event to evening.
It features a finely engraved front clasp, detachable shoulder strap, kid suede interior & zip & slip pockets inside Polished palladium finish hardware.
Product Care All Asprey crocodile handbags are either Nile or Porossus Crocodile or Mississippi Alligator, and are protected by the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species, to ensure sustainability. Maintain the beauty of your Asprey Crocodilian handbag to ensure it endures through time. The precious nature of these leathers require that it is kept away from direct contact with heat, water, light & oil, all of which can cause damage to the appearance of the skin. Wipe away any moisture as soon as possible. When not in use, replace the custom-made kid suede cushion provided inside the handbag to hold its shape, and store it in the dust bag provided and in a clean, dry, temperate atmosphere.
Commercial care products are not kind to Asprey crocodile handbags. A soft dry cloth is sufficient to maintain the beauty of the leather.
