This 1781 Pochette is created in parrot green crocodile with a brilliant finish. The 1781 collection of handbags is designed to celebrate the establishment of Asprey in that year and the styling harks back to early travel bags. Wear the endlessly versatile 1781 pochette with the belt strap elegantly closed or open for a more informal look. Hold in the hand or wear cross body on the detachable shoulder strap closure.
Product Care All Asprey crocodile handbags are either Nile or Porossus Crocodile or Mississippi Alligator, and are protected by the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species, to ensure sustainability. Maintain the beauty of your Asprey Crocodilian handbag to ensure it endures through time. The precious nature of these leathers require that it is kept away from direct contact with heat, water, light & oil, all of which can cause damage to the appearance of the skin. Wipe away any moisture as soon as possible. When not in use, replace the custom-made kid suede cushion provided inside the handbag to hold its shape, and store it in the dust bag provided and in a clean, dry, temperate atmosphere. Commercial care products are not kind to Asprey crocodile handbags. A soft dry cloth is sufficient to maintain the beauty of the leather.
All Asprey products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship for one year from the date of purchase (this in no way affects your statutory rights). However, in the unlikely event that your Asprey product does not match up to our exacting standards, we will try our hardest to put matters right. Should any manufacturing fault appear on your Asprey product within twelve months of purchase, please return it to us with proof of purchase. Where possible we will try to repair it, or if it cannot be repaired, we will replace it for you.
For any damage resulting from normal "wear and tear", an accident, or damage that has occurred outside of our guarantee period, please contact our Customer Service team (customerservices@asprey.com) who will be pleased to provide you with a quote for repair where possible. Please be aware that repairs may take up to twelve weeks.

This masterpiece of the silversmith's craft was created in the Asprey workshops in the 1980s. Lifelike and exquisitely graceful, it was the pride of the Rosalind and Arthur Gilbert's villa in LA. It has been displayed at London's Victoria & Albert museum since October 2016.
