This is one of a series of four hand-carved, lead-free glass vases depicting each season of the year in North America. The design is inspired by Autumn in Vermont; Sumac trees, Paper White Birch trees, Witch Hazel trees, Mountain Ash trees and American Elm trees. The artist combines traditional cup-casing with contemporary cameo carving techniques.
